With the 2006-2007 classroom year behind them and the summer vacation in progress, trustees and administrators of the Brownwood Independent School District are turning their thought toward the new school year. Goals and planning for the 2007-2008 and preliminary budget planning are two items on the superintendent’s report for tonight’s board meeting.

It will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the administration complex at 2707 Southside, and the meeting is open to the public.

Trustees are also scheduled to hear a report from the district’s insurance agent on hail damage claims at buildings throughout the school system.
