Brown County Commis-sioners will discuss vehicle registration fees and employee benefits when they convene in court Monday.

The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. in the commissioners courtroom on the main floor of the Brown County Courthouse.

Six items are listed on the “new business” agenda, and, following the special session business meeting, the court may reconvene at 1:30 p.m. for a budget workshop.

Agenda items include:

•Discussion of employee benefit options, presented by Stephen Rainbolt, National Family Care;

•Consideration and possible approval regarding lease for computer/facsimile equipment, presented by Frank Griffin, County Court-at-Law judge;

•Consideration and possible approval of office equipment rental agreement, presented by Billy Murphey, Brown County Veterans Service officer;

•Public hearing to approve resolution, memorandum of understanding and equipment purchases through the Justice Assistance Grant, 2009, presented by Sheriff Capt. Tony Aaron;

•Consideration and action regarding optional Texas Department of Transportation motor vehicle registration fees, presented by Brown County Judge Ray West;

•Consideration and possible action to impose a county-wide burn ban, presented by Precinct 2 Commissioner Joel Kelton.
