Brown County Commis-sioners will discuss use of funds from a grant from the Homeland Security Agency and open bids for the jail’s roof when they meet Monday.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom at the Brown County Courthouse.

A relatively short agenda calls for Bobby Duvall of the sheriff’s department to go before commissioners as jail roof bids are opened and considered for possible acceptance.

County Emergency Management Coordinator Brent Bush will seek commissioners’ approval regarding the grant from Homeland Security.

Mechail Cox will present to the a court a nominee to consider as a replacement member for the Brown County Child Welfare Board.

Sheriff Bobby Grubbs is on the agenda to present employee changes.

Other agenda items include opening prayer, reading and approval of minutes, recognition of visitors, reports, approval of bills and approval of the treasurer’s report.
