The Brown County Grand Jury returned indictments against five people who were arrested following deputies’ seizure of marijuana plants near May.

Deputies seized eight plants, ranging from 3 to 8 feet tall, from several properties on Pleasant Valley Road on Sept. 20.

Those indicted were Jimmy Harrell, 45; Steven Harrell, 46, who is Jimmy Harrell’s brother; Jason Harrell, 23, who is Steven Harrell’s son; Edward Standerfer, 42; and his ex-wife, Maria Standerfer, 34, 35th District Court records state.

All but Maria Standerfer were indicted on charges of possession of marijuana. She was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, records state.

Also were indicted were:

Earnest Allen Main, theft over $1,500 under $20,000.

Kevin Koli Cantu, driving while intoxicated.

Jodie Don Humphries, sexual assault of a child.

Joe S. Gonzales III, possession of a controlled substance.

Diego Martinez Ramon, burglary of a building.

Daniel Stephen Priester, unauthorized use of a vehicle.

John Franklin Walker Jr., aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Ricky Leshawn Smith, burglary of a habitation.

Albert Wayne Fry, endangering a child, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Glen Mack Love, driving while intoxicated.

Dustin Allan Davis, theft over $1,500 under $20,000.

Albert Salazar, evading arrest.

Jessie Earl Snyder, possession of firearm by felon.

Johnny Curtis Yazell, possession of a controlled substance.

Elisha Dawn Covey, possession of a controlled substance.

Torrance Vinet Griggs, possession of a controlled substance.

Yolanda Renae Huckaby, possession of a controlled substance.

Ruben Sambrano, delivery of a controlled substance.

Aaron Daniel Dixon, forgery.

Kristi Graves Castillo, forgery.

Susanne Pierce, injury to a child.

Jason Padilla, false name, false information and forgery.

Gustavo Roberto Soto, theft over $1,500 under $20,000.

Jeffrey Todd Plummer, possession of a controlled substance.

Nikki Michelle Peel, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
