Services for Richard Campbell, age 59, of Brownwood, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2008, in the Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bryan Grant officiating.

Burial will follow in Cathedral in the Pines in Tyler under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Mr. Campbell passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008. He was born Dec. 24, 1948, in Tyler.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen DeShazo Campbell of Brownwood; two sons, Bret and Ryan Campbell; his parents, George and Martha Campbell of Tyler; a sister, Dottie Campbell Ratliff, of Tyler; three nieces, Missy Chapman of Tyler, Shelly McKeehan of Mineola, and Tammy Phelps of Austin; two great-nieces, Amber and Ashley Simpson; a great-nephew, Daniel Burnett; and a great-great niece, Avery Clayton-Simpson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Luther and Marie DeShazo of Tyler; and three brothers-in-law, Keith DeShazo and wife, Dawn, of Springdale, Ark., Kelvin DeShazo and wife, Kelli, of Tyler, and Kyle DeShazo and wife, Jill, of Tyler; Kolin, Zac, Quin, and Addie DeShazo of Arkansas; Kara and William DeShazo, of Tyler, and Finley and Kristin DeShazo of Tyler.

Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Keith DeShazo, Kelvin DeShazo, Kyle DeShazo, Dan Stroud, Bret Campbell and Ryan Campbell.
