Joseph Ansons had plenty of expertise at hand when he worked on his Boy Scout Eagle project Saturday morning outside the Corinne T. Smith Animal Center.
Ansons’ older brothers, who also achieved the rank of Eagle, were among the Scouts who helped Joseph build cat cages. Joseph said they planned to build 16 of them.
His brothers: Aaron, 23, an Army medic stationed at Fort Hood, and Jeremy, 21, a cook at Chili’s. They are the sons of Harald and Diane Ansons.
Also present were Scouts Chris Maybee and Chris Allred, missionaries from Utah, and A.D. Randle, a friend who is a senior at Brownwood High School.
“You guys got your Eagle?” Harald Ansons asked Maybee and Allred.
“Yeah,” one of the young men replied.
“There’s two more Eagles for you - a flock of Eagles,” Harald Ansons said.
Harald Ansons said he is “very proud” of his sons. Aaron Anson said he is “definitely” proud of his younger brothers, who are “keeping up the tradition.”
