Brownwood police and sheriff’s deputies responded to several weekend incidents involving marijuana or alcohol.

Deputies arrested three people at a “pasture party” late Saturday night at county roads 411 and 120.

Deputy Carlyle Gover was dispatched to a report of a “loud pasture party where marijuana was being smoked” at 11 p.m.

Gover arrested Alisha Holden, 22, of Rising Star on a charge of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces, Gover’s report states. Holden denied that the marijuana, which Gover found in a parked car Holden owns, was hers.

Gover also arrested Brooke Callaway, 27, of Cross Plains on six outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

Deputy David Varner, who arrived to assist Gover, arrested Joshua Myers, 19, of Coleman on a charge of public intoxication.

In other incidents involving drugs or alcohol:

Officer Trey Weathermon arrested Kimberly Wills, 20, of Brownwood on a charge of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces after a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Ninth. Weathermon arrested David Williams, 46, of Brady on a charge of public intoxication after responding to a disturbance call at a local bar. Cpl. Mike Sheedy arrested Rudy Reyna, 39, of Brownwood on a charge of public intoxication after officers were dispatched to the Driftwood Apartments, 501 Main, on a report of a fight.

In other incidents:

Officer Aaron Taylor responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1700 block of Stewart and arrested Ricky Denison, 48, on an assault charge. Someone took a generator and several feet of copper wire from a home being remodeled in the 1500 block of Second.
