According to a release from Nationals Inc., more than $20,000 is being offered in prizes and specialty gifts and will be distributed to contestants during the competition.

Personality is the primary criteria for the judging, and besides modeling, girls gain experience in interviewing and have an opportunity to display their own personal style and personality throughout the competition.

The winner of each division in the Dallas/Fort Worth competiton will receive an all expense paid trip to compete in the Cities of America National Competition to be held in Orlando, Fla.

Nationals Inc. seeks sponsorships for contestants, which allows the girls to compete in the different levels of competition without cost to themselves or their families. Community businesses, organizations and private individuals are invited to become sponsors.
