Insurance, construction and the price of a school lunch are all items for review and consideration on Early Independent School District’s board of trustees’ agenda.

Trustees will meet in regular session at 6 p.m. Thursday in the board room of the EISD administration building, 1080 Early Blvd.

The regular agenda includes 14 items. Those are:

A. Consideration for approval of proposal for new bleachers to be included in the high school gym renovations.

B. Consideration for approval of the delivery method of the construction manager at-risk for the additions and renovations at the high school, new football stadium and primary campus.

C. Consideration for approval of selection criteria for construction manager at-risk.

D. Consideration for approval of student extra-curricular insurance for the 2007-08 school year.

E. Discuss property, casualty and liability insurance for the 2007-’08 school year.

F. Discuss fleet insurance for the 2007-’08 school year.

G. Consideration for approval of cafeteria breakfast and lunch prices for the 2007-’08.

H. Consideration for approval of donating high school gym bleachers to Victory Life Christian Academy.

I. Consideration of approval of schematic design for the Big Room.

J. Consideration for approval of schematic design for elementary campus.

K. Review campus student handbooks.

L. Review Early ISD employee handbook.

M. Consideration for approval of Early ISD student code of conduct.

N. Consideration for approval of a contractual agreement with the law firm of Linebarger, Goggan, Blair and Sampson to represent the district for any administrative appeals of the comptroller’s property values for 2006.

Personnel issues, including resignations, new hires and other matters will be discussed in closed session and acted on when the board convenes in open meeting.

The meeting agenda also includes reports to be made by the Board President Shawn Russell and EISD principals and administrators.
