Bulletin Staff Report

Area residents are being urged to “give your arm to save your eyes” at the Brownwood Rotary Club sponsored blood drive scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

The bloodmobile from United Blood Services of San Angelo will be located at the parking lot of Comolli and Ethridge Family Vision Care center at 1200 Austin Ave., and appointments are still available, officials said Wednesday.

They can be made online at www.bloodhero. com, or by calling United Blood Services at (800) 756-0024.

In return for a donation of blood, Comolli and Ethridge will give a voucher for a free vision screening. Go to the blood drive site for details on what the screening includes.

In addition, all donors will also be entered into the monthly drawing held by United Blood Services for a $300 gift card to Wal-Mart. All donors will receive a free T-shirt. Donors of two red blood cells will receive a stainless steel Koozie.
