One more day, and “Lucky No. 7” Brownwood Reunion Celebration will be over.
But today’s activities are still designed to attract crowds to downtown Brownwood. Celebration Stage near the Santa Fe Depot will be the focus of entertainment beginning at 1 p.m., after gates open at noon. A series of performers — including the Abundant Life Worship Team, Nikki Heath and Beyond Destiny and the winner of Brown County’s Got Talent contest — will play in advance of Coffey Anderson’s headlining 3 p.m. concert.
Exhibitor Row with a host of arts and crafts and other displays will be open from noon to 5 p.m. today, and the Hands On A House Contest will also come to a close.
Entertainers will also be featured on the Hometown Hero Stage from noon to 5 p.m. today. They include Centro de Adoracion y Alabanza Church of Brownwood, Rescued, Groupo Illegal, J.C. Revolution and G-Town Glorifiers.
The final day of Reunion activities follows a busy Friday night and Saturday that were highlighted by the music of Jack Ingram on Friday night and of John Michael Montgomery on Saturday night, after a fireworks display.
Two parades rolled through downtown Saturday, the Feels Like Home Grand Parade in the morning and the Show Your Glow children’s parade in the evening.
