As a Brownwood police officer watched and listened early Monday morning, a man talked on a phone, held up a small plastic bag of what appeared to be marijuana and said “OK, I got it.”

The man then put the bag in a cabinet under the kitchen sink, a report by officer Sky Self states.

Eric Sullivan, 40, was booked into the Brown County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana, jail records state.

Two other people in the residence were also arrested — Sarah Cardenas, 22, on a misdemeanor marijuana charge, and Lorena Navejar, 23, on outstanding city warrants, police and jail records state.

Self was dispatched to Huff Circle shortly after midnight on a report that people in two vehicles were using and selling narcotics, Self’s report states.

Self walked up to an apartment where the vehicles were parked and knocked on the door. He could see a man through a window, and after the man placed the small bag in the cabinet, he answered Self’s knock.

Self told the man if he had marijuana, he needed to hand it over and the man gave the bag to Self, the officer’s report states.
