Howard Payne University has announced its homecoming court for this weekend’s activities.

Homecoming princess nominees are Elyse Dodd, a junior biology major from Mesquite; Katie Curry, a junior practical theology major from Farmington, N.M.; and Hope Hohertz, a junior criminal justice major from Priddy.

Homecoming queen nominees include Kristen Hoover, a senior psychology major from Brock; Ashley Gravitt, a senior with a double major in business administration management and Spanish from Lawton, Okla.; and Emily Dodd, a senior radio-television major from Mesquite.

The homecoming queen and princess will be announced at the 10 a.m. Friday homecoming convocation at First Baptist Church of Brownwood. The court will be featured in Saturday’s homecoming parade beginning at 10 a.m., and in the half-time show of the homecoming football game against Texas Lutheran University at Gordon Wood Stadium at 2 p.m.

The student body selects the court each year by elections coordinated through the Student Government Association.
