Brown County Commissioners meet at 9 a.m. today. A two-item new business agenda has been posted.

The special session court convenes in the commissioners' courtroom of the main floor of the Brown County Courthouse. The first and third Monday commissioners court sessions are considered special session meetings.

The second Monday of the month meeting is a regular session. The court does not usually convene on the fourth or fifth Monday of the month.

The agenda items, as listed, are:

• Amy Hamrick — Discussion and action on contract with LexisNexis for Accurint for Government accounts. According to the Web site for LexisNexis, "Accurint® is the most widely accepted locate-and-research tool available to government, law enforcement and commercial customers. Its proprietary data-linking technology returns search results in seconds to the user's desktop."

• Don King and Ed Neil — Preliminary plat approval — Woodbridge Estates, formerly part of Oak Point Subdivision.

Following the new business agenda, the court will hear and review reports; consider and approve bills; and approve the treasurer's report.
