Bulletin Staff Report
Trustees of the Brownwood Independent School District will continue discussion of the new year’s budget and consider approval of a proposed tax rate for the 2007-2008 fiscal year — the figure that will be shown in a public notice — when the board meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be held at the school administration office at 2707 Southside Dr., and is open to the public.
The board will also consider designating Aug. 29 as the date to adopt the new budget and tax rate.
The fiscal year will end Aug. 31, and several items on this month’s agenda deal with year-end or new-year business.
The agenda as posted follows:
