Theft and vandalism have consumed the time of the Brownwood Police Department over the last few days.

Officer Doug Hurt responded to a call Tuesday at the 3400 block of Vincent regarding a theft. The complainant stated that tools, yard items and household items totaling $5,000 were stolen from a shed on the property. The man provided a possible list of suspects to authorities. Hurt was also dispatched to a home in the 600 block of Fisk. The homeowner reported the back right storage compartment window of her SUV had been broken.
