The following defendants were sentenced recently in 35th District Court, according to District Attorney Micheal Murray's office:

Leroy Moore Jr. pleaded guilty to two offenses of delivery of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was sentenced to 13 years in prison in each case. Moore, on probation for injury to a child and assault family violence - enhanced, was adjudicated and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Orlando Eleazar Guevara pleaded guilty to assault family violence - occlusion and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Justin Alan Phipps pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance - drug free zone and was sentenced to five years in prison.
