Two Brown County residents were indicted on drug charges stemming from the Early Police Department's seizure in August of 11 grams of methamphetamine.

The December session of the Brown County Grand Jury returned indictments of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in a drug free zone against Michael Edward Cooper, 43, of Blanket, and Sandra M. Lyon, 46, of Brownwood, according to information from District Attorney Micheal Murray's office.

The two were arrested following an Aug. 27 traffic stop in in the 500 block of East Commerce, just inside Brownwood.

Also indicted were:

Gary Dale Mitchell, driving while intoxicated.

John Earl Brumlow, driving while intoxicated.

Timothy Scott Thacker, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Leopoldo Jimenez Jr., possession of a controlled substance - drug free zone.

Johnny Dean Scaff Jr., possession of a controlled substance.

David Bryan Shawn, possession of a controlled substance - drug free zone.

Jose Luis Estrada Jr., possession of a controlled substance - drug free zone.

Myron Oscar Condon, violation of a protective order.

Clarence V. Hickerson Jr., burglary of a habitation.

Raul Cadena, burglary of a habitation.
