Jesse Wade Wills of Brownwood died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at home. He was 40.
He was born Dec. 21, 1976, to Stacey and Mary Green Wills in Kermit. He attended Brownwood High School.
Jesse was a carpenter and painter by trade. He enjoyed simple pleasures like camping, cooking and hanging out with friends and family. He loved dogs and was tender-hearted about all living things. He was artistic, sensitive and had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a close relationship with his God, and believed in the goodness of everyone.
He is survived by his father Stacey Wills and wife Angela, his mother Mary Green Engle and husband Roger, older brother Ashley Wills, twin brother Cody Wills and wife Kelli, sister Lori Faz and husband Armando, sister Kimberley Wills, and special friend Kerri Moore and her son AJ and daughters Tagan and Brionna, whom he loved like a father. He is also survived by grandmothers Rachel Beckner, and Betty Wills of Jacksonville, Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 at Lakeview Baptist Church, 8315 FM 2125, Brownwood, Rev. John Delarosa officiating. Cremation has taken place.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Corinne T. Smith Animal Shelter in Brownwood.
