COLEMAN — Funeral services for Veta Wilson, 86, of Coleman, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Concho Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Simmons and the Rev. Daniel Stovall officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Ranch Cemetery. Services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman.

She died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at her residence in Coleman.

She was born March 5, 1931 in Coleman County to to George Truett and Sula Martha Landers Hipsher. In 1980, she married Dewey Wilson.

Survivors include daughter, Bonnie and husband Bill Henning of Glen Cove; sons, Bill and wife Pia Cullins of San Angelo, Charlie and wife Sue Cullins of Coleman; sister, Carolyn Willis of Fort Worth; two brothers, Edwin and wife Janice Hipsher of Santa Anna, and Don and wife Janis Hipsher of Republic, Missouri; step-daughter, Beverly Knapp of Dayton, Maryland; two step-sons, Barry and wife Maureen Wilson of Coleman, and Greg and wife Charlotte Wilson of Brown Ranch; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dana West; and a grandson, Don Robert Cullins.
