COLEMAN — Funeral services for Annie Mae Brimer, 99, of Coleman, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Stanislaw officiating. Burial will follow at the Valera Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She died Friday, June 16, 2017 at Coleman County Medical Center.
She was born May 23, 1918 in Millersview, to Sloan Fletcher and Kitty Collier Fletcher.  She married J.C. Brimer on Sept. 6, 1936 in Millersview.
Survivors include two sons, Wallace Brimer and wife Chris of Abilene, and Bill Brimer and wife Carole of Granbury; one daughter, Glenda Bowman and husband Earl of San Angelo; five grandchildren, Allan Brimer, Brett Brimer, Barry Brimer, Earl Bowman IV, and Randye Sullivan; four great-grandchildren, Edie Brimer, Loralyn Brimer, Evelyn Brimer, Cheyenne Bowman, and Jacob Sullivan; one sister, Merle Spruill of Odessa; and special friends, Gary Pittard and Nancy Smith.
She was preceded in death by by her husband, J.C. Brimer; two brothers, Charles Fletcher and Albert Fletcher; three sisters, Mary Ward, Dolly Scott, and Winnie Dais; and a special friend, Louis Pittard.
