COMANCHE — Funeral services for Margaret Nell Hobbs Pfingsten, 83, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 at Comanche Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rock Church Cemetery in Brown County. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She died Monday, Sept. 18, 2017, in Brownwood.
She and twin sister Margery Dell were born on March 30, 1934, in Littlefield to George Milton and Dona Alice (Aber) Hobbs. On October 3, 1952, she married Edward Lee Pfingsten in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Survivors include seven children, Cynthia Robey, Donna Eaton and husband Robbie, Roy Pfingsten and wife Cheryl, Nelda Fisher and husband Scott, Joyce McGlothlin and husband Wayne, Mozelle Sattler and husband Nelson, and Rob Pfingsten and wife Keeda; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Lloyd Hobbs and Curtis Hobbs; and numerous nieces and nephews across Texas and New Mexico,
She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Audra Lea Chasteen; two sisters, Margery Hobbs and Alda Bundick; and five brothers, Claude Hobbs, Wayne Hobbs, Will Hobbs, Floyd Hobbs and Donald Hobbs.
