COMANCHE — Funeral services for Janice Faye Davis, 73, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at First Baptist Church of Comanche. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10 at Comanche Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017 in Fort Worth.
She was born on June 16, 1944, in Dublin to Winston and Neoma (Smith) Kee. On March 27, 1964, she married Garry Davis at Baggett Creek Church in Gustine.
Survivors include her husband, Garry Davis of Comanche; daughter, Deann Latham and husband Buddie of Comanche; son, Dr. Todd Davis and wife Stephanie of Comanche; grandchildren, Jenny Wingate and husband Shane of Breckenridge, Libby Latham, Harrison Davis, and Hannah Davis, all of Comanche; sisters, Sue Levisay and husband Charles Ray of Comanche, and Kay Downing of New Braunfels; sisters-in-law, Willie Fay Key of Bedford, Bobbie Key of Burkburnett, and Verdell Davis Krisher of Dallas; numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of close friends.
She was preceded in death by sister, Merla McDougal; brothers, Alvis Kee and Troy Kee; and, brothers-in-law, Creath Davis, Burt Downing, and Lonnie McDougal.
