BRADY — Linda Fay Granberry, 71, of Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 in Brownwood.
She was born April 18, 1946 in Coleman to Excell Segrest and Mattie Louise (Lewis) Segrest. She graduated from Bangs High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree and Masters Degree from Howard Payne University. She taught school for the Lohn ISD for over 20 years. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and various other women’s organizations over the years. She was also a professional artist, with paintings sold nationwide. Art was an important part of Linda’s life and she loved providing art lessons to children as well as adults. She has lived in Rochelle since 1983 after living in Dallas for several years and Sinton for several years. She was an active member of the Rochelle Baptist Church in Rochelle.
Funeral services for Linda Granberry will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3 at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Interment will follow at the Rochelle Cemetery in Rochelle. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Traci Feazelle and husband James of Brady; brother, James Segrest and wife Kathy of Granbury; grandchildren, Nathanael Adams, Elijah Adams, Paris Fields, Tommy Fields and Myranda Fields; and niece, Cindi Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a niece, Tammy Segrest.
