SANTA ANNA — Funeral services for Cynthia E. Purcell, 50 of Abilene, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 at the First Baptist Church of Cisco. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Cisco.

She died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene.

She was born on Aug. 28, 1967 in Abilene to Joseph and Wanda Elaine Wheeland Zuckernick.  In 1990, she married Willard Johnson in Cisco and he preceded her in death in 2013. On July 2, 2015 she married Louie Purcell in Abilene.

Survivors include her husband, Louie Purcell of Abilene; four brothers, Richard Zuckernick of Virginia; Scott Zuckernick of Colorado, Jason Ware of Eastland, and Chris Ware of Austin; children – Taylor Purcell of San Antonio, Kelsey Purcell of San Antonio, Zoe Purcell of Floresville; niece, Jaelyn Ware; and two nephews, Braxton Ware and Collin Ware.
