COLEMAN — Graveside services for Gilbert Ramon, 78 of Coleman, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6 at Fort McKavett Cemetery in Schleicher County. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5 at Stevens Funeral Home, and visitation will be held prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the cemetery.
He died Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at Coleman County Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 4, 1939 in Fort McKavett to Sylvester Ramon and Cliofitas Deanda Ramon. On July 10, 1960, he married Aurora Bermea in Menard.
Survivors include his wife, Aurora Ramon of Coleman; two daughters, Annabelle Cole of Coleman, and Elisa Wren and husband Brian of Cotton, Minnesota; one son, Gilbert Ramon Jr. of Coleman; one sister, Lupita Rodriguez of London, Texas; eight grandchildren, Brian Alan Jr. and Jackie Wren of Kelsey, Minnesota, Elisa Crutcher and Lindsey Garrison of Coleman, Aireial and Brant Webb of Granby, Colorado, Stanley M. Cole Jr. and Amanda Rushing of Ranger, Cynthia Ramon and Coleman Price of Palo Pinto, Jewels Harmes of Coleman, Christina and Dustin Vigil of Reno, Oklahoma; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
