COMANCHE — Graveside services for Kent Douglas Colclasure, 56, of Comanche, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018, at Texas State Veterans Cemetery. Comanche Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
He died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018.
He was born Dec. 23, 1961 in Paso Robles, California to Evelyn Marie Barding Colclasure and her husband. He entered the Army in 1980 and served as a military police officer until his military discharge in 1984. On Jan. 12, 2002, he married Rochelle Butler.
Survivors include by his wife, Rochelle; his three sons, Andrew Eugene Butler of Comanche, Brandon Ross Colclasure of Burnet, and Kristopher Allen Bartram and wife Tamara of Eastland; his three daughters, Taylor Rae Butler of Comanche, Rita Annette Butler of Kingsland, and Kiya Michelle Butler of Burnet; four grandsons, Tyler and Joseph Kennedy of Granite Shoals, Jevin Orosco of Marble Falls, and Chasin Bartram of Eastland, sister, Karen Magonye-Jeffords and husband Michael of Fort Meyers, Florida, and adopted sister Laura Kouns and husband Kyle of Dublin.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Andre Dean Colclasure; and his mother, Evelyn Marie Barding Colclasure.
