Bradley Chase Freeland was called to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in Austin.
Bradley was born April 26, 1998 in Arcadia, Florida to Brad Freeland and Angela Young Freeland. Bradley touched many lives with his infectious smile and fun-loving sense of humor that always made everyone laugh. He loved being with his many friends in May, Bastrop, and Padre Island. Bradley was a Baptist. He was proud to be a May Tiger and loved his coaches and teammates. He loved helping others. Bradley was passionate about organ donation. He has left a legacy in his name by saving several lives with his selfless donation.
He leaves behind his mother, Angela Young Satterly and husband Kris; his father, Brad Freeland and wife Linda; and four brothers, Austin Yancey of Lubbock, Gage Freeland of Bastrop, and Gunner Freeland and River Freeland of May. He is also survived by paternal grandparents, Pearl Blackburn and Sam Garcia; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Sharon Ferguson and grandfather Larry Young; uncles, Jerry Freeland and Ryan Young; and many aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death and joined in heaven by his grandfather Jerry E. Freeland and Caesar Blackburn. Our sweet boy will forever be in our hearts.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 13 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 at May First Baptist Church in May. Burial will follow at Wolf Valley Cemetery in May.
