Melba Wallace ‘Wally’ Foster Conneway went to her forever home on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
She was born to Watt and Aubrey Wilson Foster in Callahan County on April 6, 1938. She attended Bangs and Santa Anna schools and graduated from Brownwood High School in 1956. She then moved to California where she met and married Bob Conneway, an ex-marine, also a Texan. Most of her life was spent in California. She returned to Brownwood briefly after her husband’s death in May 2008. She returned to Brownwood from Sierra Vista, Arizona Sept. 1, 2017.
She is survived by a son, Bobby Conneway and grandson, Robbie Conneway of Menefee, California; sister, Carolyn Goodwin; brother, Jerry Foster and wife Kathy; aunt, Joy Heltzel; sister-in-law, Ginger Davignon and husband Al; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and nephew, Brent Foster.
