GOLDTHWAITE — Funeral services for Demaris Helen Hasley Griffin, 84, of Mullin, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 5 at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ebony Cemetery in Mills County. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She died Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

She was born Nov. 11, 1933 in Ridge Community, Mills County, to Clarence Monsey Hasley and Lena Rasco Hasley. She married Charles H. Griffin on Jan. 19, 1952 in Brownwood.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Spillar and husband Kyle of Spicewood; grandchildren, Heather Marrs and James of Wichita Falls, Heath Nuckolls and Laura of Georgetown, John Agnew and fiancée Lacee Bates of Spicewood, Ryan Nuckolls, John Spillar and Katie and Jordan Spillar and Haley; great-grandchildren, Tabatha Miller, Steven and Robert Marrs, Daniel Holdsworth, Ben and Griffin Nuckoll; and great-great-grandchildren, Sterling and Presley Agnew, Paisley Holdsworth and Jase Spillar.

She was preceded in death by Clarence Monsey Hasley and Lena Rasco Hasley; her husband, Charles Griffin; her daughter, Delaine Nuckolls; and her brother, Ralph Hasley.
