Ivan O. Reynolds, 91, of Bangs and formerly of Brownwood, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services for Ivan will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Bangs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Ivan was born to Edward and Cynthia (Barnett) Reynolds on Dec. 2, 1926, in Karnes City. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Ivan retired from TxDOT after many years.

Ivan was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed watching old westerns and collecting antiques. He also loved animals and going gambling.

Ivan is survived by his two sons, Steve Reynolds of Lexington and Jimmy Reynolds of Bangs; grandchildren, Brandy Haralson, Candice Albrecht, Steven Reynolds, and Tempress Harden; eight great-grandchildren; and special niece, Lisa Penn of Brownwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Cynthia Reynolds; daughter, Linda Krehbiel; two brothers; and two sisters.
