CRANE - Funeral services for Nathan McLaughlin, 48, of Crane will be held at 3 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Crane with the Rev. John Swedlund officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

He died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, in a San Angelo Hospital.

He was born on May 30, 1960, in Brownwood. He had lived in Crane since 1979. He was operations manager for Trey Trucks and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki McLaughlin of Crane; two daughters, Delaine Wantland and her husband John of Midland, and Kyndall Solis and her husband George of Odessa; his mother, Alice McLaughlin of Blanket; a brother, Philip McLaughlin of Odessa; two sisters, Cynthia Heard and Gayla McLaughlin, both of Blanket; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
