RISING STAR — Jackie LeBleu, 79, of Comanche, Texas, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, at Care Inc. in Early, Texas. Funeral dervices will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Lawnhaven Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas, with Higginbotham Funeral Home of Rising Star in Charge.

She was born on June 13, 1928, in Faulkner County, Ark., to Lloyd Parker and Virgie Brady-Powell. She married Rex LeBleu on June 19, 1946, in Conway, Ark. They enjoyed 52 years of marriage before Rex passed away on March 7, 1999. She was a member of the Rising Star Church of Christ. She lived in the area since 1972, prior to that she lived in San Angelo, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry LeBleu of Comanche; grandson, Darren Keesee of Carrolton; and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rex LeBleu; one daughter, Rexann LeBleu; one granddaughter, Meredith Lynn Hamblen; two brothers, Kenneth and Gerald Powell; and one sister, Mary Bell Powell.
