BRADY — Funeral services for James “Jim” Adams, 67, of Brady will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels.

Burial with military honors will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, in Round Rock.

He was born in Ashland, Ky., and was married to Wanda Sue Smith on April 2, 1964, in Sandy Hook, Ky.

Survivors include two sons, Randy Adams of Brady and Brady Adams of Austin; one daughter, Paula Patton of Austin; three sisters, Lucille Kennedy and Lee Cunningham, both of Marion, Ohio, and Linda Atkinson of Flatwoods, Ky.; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one step-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother, Robert D. Adams.
