Graveside funeral services for Rosmary Bivins, 61, of Lake Brownwood, formerly of Lubbock, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bivins died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born Oct. 3, 1947, in Lubbock to Wayne and Sylvia (Steele) Barnes. She attended Lubbock schools and graduated from Coronado High School. She was married to David Henry Bivins on March 21, 1997, in Bryan and had been a resident of Lake Brownwood for the past seven years. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.

Rosmary is survived by her husband, David of Lake Brownwood; a daughter, Shady Dawn Malaeb and husband Salim of Wolfforth; a son, James Christopher Lane and wife Christi of Idalou; a grandson, Jax James Lane of Idalou; four granddaughters, Sasha, Shyanne, Sierra, and Savannah Malaeb of Wolfforth; and a brother, Wayne Riley Barnes of Libertyville, Ill., and her former husband, James Ronald Lane of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Brant Christopher Lane.

Rosmary loved her family and her dogs and was an avid nature lover. She will be missed by her family, friends and neighbors.
