SAN SABA — Services for William “Bill” Edwin Maultsby, 63, of Haltom City will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at First Baptist Church of San Saba. Burial will be in China Creek Cemetery in San Saba County under the direction of Sheppard Funeral Home of Copperas Cove.

Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the church.

He died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at his home.

He was born Feb. 18, 1944, in San Saba, and was married to Sharon Isham on July 16, 1966, in San Saba. He worked as an electrical inspector and was a member of First Baptist Church of Watauga. He was active in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, serving as president of Local Union 116, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Richland Hills. He served in the Army National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Maultsby of Haltom City; a daughter, Rainey Mays and Husband Greg of Longwood, Fla.; a son, Walter Maultsby and wife Stacie of Watauga; two sisters, Brenda Land of San Saba and Lolly Maultsby of Angleton; his mother, Sara Maultsby of San Saba; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, William A. Maultsby; and a son, William A. Maultsby.
