Funeral services for Judy Estelle Spearman, 56, of Early, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ruben Packard officiating. Cremation will follow, under the direction of Heartland Funeral and Cremation Services. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on today, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Spearman passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at her home in Early with loved ones by her side.

Judy Estelle Richardson was born on Jan. 14, 1952, at the Tachikawa Air Force Base in Tokyo, Japan, to Kenneth Grant Richardson and Alice Harris Richardson. She was raised and educated in Brown County and on March 14, 1970, she was married to Billy Wayne Spearman. Judy had been in the Medical Billing field for 20 years, TYC for four years and MHMR for four years as well. She loved working with crafts and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church.

Mrs. Spearman is survived by her husband of 38 years, Billy Wayne Spearman; one daughter, April Jameson and husband Archie of Early; two sons, Marcus Spearman and wife Loraine of Fort Worth and Aaron Spearman and wife Christa of Justin, Texas; two brothers, Kenneth Richard-son Jr., and wife Christy of Greenville, S.C., and Robert Richardson and wife Candy, of Cool, Calif.; three sisters, Margie Blair of Carrollton, Texas, and Katy Vasquez and Cheryl Gicoff, both of Des Moines, Iowa. She is also survived by three sister-in-laws, Arlene Richardson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Anne Richardson of Des Moines, Iowa and Vicki Richardson of Decatur, Ala.; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Alice Richardson; and four brothers, Phillip, Richard, Ronald and Tommy Richardson.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The American Heart Association, The Humane Society or Good Samaritan.
