Funeral services for Rosie Irene Clines, 90, of Brownwood, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2007, at Calvary Baptist Church with Brothers Cary Killough and Terry Hancock officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She died Friday, May 11, 2007, in Brownwood.
Mrs. Clines was born April 25, 1917, in Ellis County. She married Albert Green Clines at Crockett in 1939. A homemaker, she had been a resident of Brownwood for 27 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was known by her family and church friends as a great cook with cornbread dressing, fried pies and cookies her specialties. A real people person, she was greatly loved by her family and was on the church hospitality committee and made cookies for vacation Bible school. Sewing was a favorite pastime making an afghan for each family member.
Survivors include her sons, Charles “Buddy” Gammage of Brownwood and Tony Clines and wife Jackie of Robinson; daughter, Sue Hogue and husband Larry of Brownwood; grandchildren, Lori Killough and husband Cary of Robinson, Robin Hogue and Dianna Krischke of Early, Kelly and Jenny Clines of Robinson, and Jeffery Paul of Waco; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Katy and Ryan Killough of Robinson, Chelsea and Chase Hogue of Missouri, and Kris Evans and Tiffanie Harper of Early
