PRIDDY — Funeral services for Max Cagle, 64, of Indian Gap will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy with Pastor Phil Geleske and Pastor Don Kingman officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Priddy. Family and friends are invited to Melody Oaks Ranch after the service.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, at Hamilton General Hospital.
He was born March 25, 1943, in Claremore, Okla., to Homer and Ora Bell Lloyd Cagle. He was married to Carolyn Jean Hall on Sept. 1, 1961, in Georgetown. She died Dec. 24, 1996. He was married to Mary Hopper on March 2, 1998, at Flower Mound. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964 and was a retired mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Cagle of Indian Gap; a son and spouse, Dean and Ronda Cagle of Priddy; three children and spouses, Bob and Debbie Carson of Lamkin, Dan and Michelle Carson of Gustine and Kim and Travis Meissner of Hamilton; nine grandchildren; four sisters and spouses, Velma and Clarence Bruce of Durant, Okla., Stan and Margie Abbott of Waco, Evelyn and Grady Hall of Comanche and Bonnie Mitchell of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Carolyn Jean Cagle; and two sons, Curtis Lee Cagle and Jimmy Don Cagle.
Memorials are requested to Zion Church and Cemetery in Priddy.
