COLEMAN - Funeral services for Connie Marie Dobbins Olinger, 58, of Coleman will be held at 2 p.m. today at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Louise Strength officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery.

She died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, at Hendrick Medical Center.

She born Connie Marie Dobbins on April 24, 1953 in Hobbs, N. M., to John Dobbins and Marjorie Woods Dobbins. She was married to Rickey Olinger on Nov. 7, 1970, in Coleman. She worked as a Home Health Aide and was a member of Brazos Street Mission.

Survivors include her son, Scotty Olinger Sr. and wife Heather of Coleman; daughter, Sharena Crowder and husband Joe of Coleman; seven brothers and sisters, Andrew Dobbins and wife Pat of McKinney, Jeannie Herring and husband Bob of Mesquite, Eugene Dobbins of Coleman, Elizabeth McLaughlin and husband Charles of Coleman, Donald Dobbins and wife Tracy of Arkansas, Johnny Dobbins of Coleman, and Robert Dobbins and wife Marilyn of Coleman; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two nephews, and one niece.
