Mary Katherine Bolton, wife, mother and beloved Mamaw, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mary was born May 9, 1949, in Sulphur, Okla., to James “J.E.” and Letha Howard Cleveland.
She graduated from Sulphur High School in 1967 and attended Murray State College before moving to Irving, Texas, where she met and married her husband of nearly 39 years on July 20, 1970. She spent her last 16 years devoting her life to spoiling her Grandkids.
Mary is survived by her husband Jack Bolton of Coleman, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Kelly Smith of Coleman. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Jordan Smith of Coleman; a grandson, Colton “CoCo” Smith of Coleman; two sisters, Marilyn Cleveland and Marla Winnard; and one brother, Dwight Cleveland, all of Oklahoma. She is also survived by many bother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews who adore her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Jimmy Cleveland.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, in the Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas.
