AUSTIN — The Lord chose Jeff to be with him Friday, May 2, 2008. He was born on March 27, 1978, in Dallas, Texas, and was a most perfect son. In his short life he had many accomplishments; baseball, football, basketball and most of all hockey. He graduated from Grapevine High School and was in Drama, a Thespian, and a Spirit Rustler. Being selected as a PAL, Peer Assistant Leader, for four straight years was especially important because he loved helping his friends and peers.

You could always count on Jeff to get you home safely, listen to your troubles, and be there for you. Jeff attended the University of Texas at Austin, and after school, remained in Austin to be close to his favorite Texas Longhorns, he was an avid fan. His freshmen year at the University, he met the love of his life, Amy Scaff. They were married Jan. 9, 2005, and they had two precious children who meant everything to Jeff. Jeff was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. Some of his greatest gifts to all that knew him were his caring, loving, and compassionate attitude for others, and his uncanny sense of humor. We will miss him every minute of every day till we see him again.

“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” — 1 Corinthians 13:13.
