Graveside services for Ruth Ellett, 83, of Belton will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.

She died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in a Temple hospital.

She was born June 30, 1924, in San Saba County to William Edward and Alpha Freeze Kelley. She lived in Belton since 1975. She was married to Robert Ellett on June 8, 1940, in Brownwood. She was a homemaker and a member of Rose Avenue Baptist Church in Breckenridge.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Ellett of Belton; three daughters, Barbara Loubriel of Puerto Rico, Rebecca French of Livingston and Leslie Pierce of Belton; two sisteers, Ida Lee Drake and Nila Gay Drake, both of Belton; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
