SANTA ANNA - Services for Doris Morgan, 84, of Santa Anna, are set for 2 p.m. today at Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Paul Stephen officiating. Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna is in charge of arrangements.

She died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at the Coleman County Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Rockwood to Henry Stevens and Eva Mae Bates Brannon. She was raised in Santa Anna, graduating from Santa Anna High School in 1940. On April 2, 1940, she was married to Earl Benson Morgan in Santa Anna. He preceded her in death in 1975. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Elks Lodge. She was a homemaker and practical nurse.

Survivors include her son, Wayne Morgan and wife Donna of Coleman and Baytown; one grandson; two sisters, Hazel Hogan of Euless and Lynda Pyle of Taos, N.M.; three brothers, Jim Brannon of San Diego, Calif., Richard Brannon of Baytown and Joe Brannon of Hurst; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Lowry and Francis Cobler.
