Thelma White, age 68, of Brownwood, Texas, passed away Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at a local nursing home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Blaylock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel, with J.A. McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Cleveland Cemetery.

Thelma was a homemaker, and a member of The Faith Baptist Church. She worked for Bangs ISD and also cooked for the Bangs Nursing Home.

Survivors include her husband, Albert White of Brownwood; three sons, Earl White and wife Sandy of Louisa, Va., Clifton Fields Jr. and wife Lovonda of Clyde, and Joseph Fields and wife Sandy of Brownwood; two daughters, Mary Ann Baker and husband Billy of Lake Brownwood and Terri Mayfield and husband Raymond of San Antonio; and one brother, Chuck Artrip and wife Carolyn of Hunnington W., Va. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifton Fields and eight brothers.
