ODESSA — Loyette Olive-Main was born in Andalusia, Ala. She resided in Brown County and was a longtime resident of Odessa, Texas; beloved wife of the late Willie James Olive and Bill Main.; loving mother of son, W. E. (Bill) Olive and wife Leona of Odessa; daughter, Peggy Cargal and husband Brent Cargal of Denison; son, Dub Olive and wife Brenda Olive of Lubbock; daughter, Candy Blair and husband Dennis Blair of Denison; daughter, Jeanie Crews of Brownwood; daughter Christina Green and husband James of Brownwood; dear sister Lavonia Griffin of Brownwood, and Mary Nolan of Andaluia, Ala., and proud grandmother of 13 children.
Preceded in death by two brothers, Ben Hendrix of Brownwood, Texas, and Midland, and Sherman Hendrix of Brownwood and Odessa.
Loyette Olive-Main will be laid to rest with the late Willie James Olive and daughter Stella Jean Clanton. Devoted to her family, she was a mother and grandmother to all. Loyette enjoyed working on her ranch and was affectionately know as “Nannie” to all. Loyette’s friendship and generosity touched may people throughout her life. She never failed to open her home to friends or new acquaintances. Mother, we will miss you. Memories we will treasure forever. Your love will remain with us always. Out heart will ache with sadness till we see you again in heaven. You will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace our precious one.
Graveside services to be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dave Adkins officiating.
