Graveside services for Edna Mae Woodson, 80, of Brownwood, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, in Eastlawn Memorial Park, with Chaplain Steve Baker officiating. Interment will follow, under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Ms. Woodson passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Edna Mae Gossett was born on July 8, 1931, to Richard Gossett and Audra Hogue Gossett. She was a Baptist and had lived in Brownwood since 1997.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Curtis Roberts of Leander and James Roberts and wife Darlene of Leander; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nadine Leggett of Fredericksburg, Tommie Ray of Hamilton and Norma Powell and husband Norman of Arp Texas and Frances Sheller and husband Jerry of Brownwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Woodson; her parents, Richard and Audra Gossett; and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Roberts.
