COMANCHE — Funeral services for Billy Charles Croker, 79, of Belton will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Hendricks officiating and the Rev. Gregory Hardin assisting.
Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery in Comanche County.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at his home.
He was born Aug. 21, 1928, in Comanche County to Charles W. and Agnes (Dean) Croker. He was married to Alice Leavern Yates in 1947 in Comanche.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Leavern Croker of Belton; his daughters, Genitha Phillips and Billie Charlene Quinn, both of Belton; a son, John Lewis Schlief of Belton; a sister, Shirley Ann Cottrell of Fort Stockton; a brother, Jackie Croker of Breckenridge; six grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jerrie Lynn Schlief Myers; and a brother, Kenneth Croker.
