Robert Charles Wright age 56 of Brownwood, passed away Oct. 27, 2007, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Robert was born on Oct. 27, 1951, in Brownwood to Charles and Bobbye Wright. A retired Ag Extension agent for over 20 years, he also served as a reserve deputy for the Limestone County Sheriffs Department, the District Court Bailiff in Limestone County. After moving to Brownwood in 2001, he became a legal advocate for the Brown County Ark, and most recently he served as a jailer for the Brown County Law Enforcement Center. He was an avid outdoorsman and was a proud member of the Texas Century Ranch Program. He is survived by his daughter Robin Wright of Bangs, grandchildren Bryant Cahill, Brayden Baker, and Kenzie Baker, brother Phillip Wright and wife Janice of Hondo, also survived by one niece and one nephews and their families and his extended family and all of those that he “ADOPTED” along the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Bobbye Wright.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ruben Packer officiating. Interment will follow in the Lost Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
