Funeral services for Bobby Kirkpatrick, 72, of Coleman will be held at 2 p.m. today, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jay Kincaid officiating. Burial with full U.S. Army military honors will be in the Talpa Cemetery.

He died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Coleman County Medical Center.

He was born April 13, 1937, in Kaufman County, to A.C. Kirkpatrick and Bertha Horton Kirkpatrick. On April 5, 1974, he was married to Elouise White in Big Spring.

Survivors include his wife; children, Dale Dunnam of Temple, Todd Dunnam and wife, Wendy, of Victoria, George (Ude) Kirkpatrick of Kermit, Debbie Alvarado and husband, Frank, of Wyoming, Dina Wingfield and husband, Greg, of Grand Island, Neb.; two brothers, Billy Kirkpatrick and wife, Marie, of Roscoe, Danny Kirkpatrick and wife, Judy of Coahoma; two sisters, Evelyn Berry and husband, Duane, of Katy, Jerry Tabor and husband, George, of Fort Worth; sister-in-law, Barbara Kirkpatrick of Coleman; mother-in-law, Louise White of Snyder; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Danny Kirkpatrick and Jeff Kirkpatrick and five brothers.
